The living room is the highlight of this property with multi fuel burner set in original iron fireplace and beautiful tiled surround and double doors leading out to the well kept garden with views across the valley to the small hamlet of Carrshield. The living room also has a sofa bed to provide extra sleeping space. To the first floor are 3 bedrooms, the master with ensuite, family bathroom and the large 3rd bedroom is split into 2 sides to provide flexible sleeping arrangements. A Grill cabin allows guests to cook and keep warm in a log cabin whilst experiencing the peace and quiet of the countryside. Relax in the hot tub with breathtaking panoramic views.

The property is perfect for families looking for peace and quiet and those wanting to get away from it all. It is eco friendly with Bio Mass heating and solar panel electricity. It is situated in a rural area on the boarder of the 3 counties of Durham, Cumbria and Northumberland. The closest Village is Allenheads, approximately 3 miles away, which holds the annual Tar Run on New Years Eve.

Please note that access to this property is down a track and during harsh winters, 4 wheel drive transport is reccommended. The nearest shop and pub are in Nenthead and Allendale, both are approximately 3 miles away. Mobile phone signal is also difficult to get although there is a payphone and also broadband provided within the property.
